There are some things we must understand about money. Unfortunately there isn’t much education on the subject of personal finance. Often times the subject seems too taboo. I experience this constantly when I talk to members of the military community both junior and senior. We are more willing to discuss family issues, relationship problems or even traumas before we discuss finances. I believe this is because we often associate financial success or failure with being a good or bad person. We don’t want to be ridiculed or pitied based on our financial situation. My hope with this site is to share my journey and pass along the lessons i’ve learned along the way. I’m am not a professional finance guru and certainly not a professional writer, however; I am is someone who is passionate about seeing others succeed and I firmly believe money can be one of the best tools to allow us the opportunity to reach our greatest potential.
